Just minutes north of downtown Brainerd is the newest family restaurant and lounge in the area! Pam and Randy Bye, owners of the Timbermist Convention Facility and R&P Catering, proudly announce the opening of their new restaurant.

In 2004, the original Chaparral Restaurant and Lounge burned to the ground. Now, nearly two years later, The Chap (pronounced "schap") has arisen from the ashes.

The menu features the finest lunch, and dinner menu in the Brainerd Lakes area with both a Mexican and American menu! This fun family atmosphere provides just the right mix of cheery lighting, decoration, and comfort for friends, family, or business meetings.
